Content and Programme development

• Review all member-submitted session proposals against set criteria (relevance, quality, originality, member value, sector alignment). 

• Provide constructive, fair and timely feedback on proposals. 

• Contribute to discussions on programme structure, themes and priorities. 

• Participate in final selection and approval of conference sessions.  

Strategic input and insight

• Bring sector knowledge, member perspective and professional experience to the planning process.    

• Highlight trends, challenges or opportunities within the legal professional relevant to conference content.

Promotion and advocacy 

• Actively promote the conference within professional and personal networks. 

• Support CILEX communications by sharing updates, deadlines and announcements where appropriate.  

• Positively represent CILEX and the event in all related interactions. 

Sponsorship and partnership

• Identify potential sponsors, exhibitors and/or partners where appropriate.  

• Make introductions or referrals to the CILEX team to support commercial activity. 

Attendance and engagement

• Attend and contribute to scheduled committee meetings (virtual or in-person). 

• Review papers, session proposals and materials in advance of meetings.  

• Participate in pre-conference activities as requested 

• If available and willing, attend the conference, at a discounted rate, to support delivery, networking and member engagement.
